2025 Pundmann Ford Fest at Quick Lane
September 13th, 2025
Location: 1200 S. Duchesne Drive, St. Charles, MO 63301
Celebrating its 100th anniversary, Pundmann Ford held another successful event. Despite unusually hot, high 90°F weather for mid-September, there were plenty of Ford vehicle owners eager to showcase their cars and trucks to demanding judges.
Over 150 heat-resistant event visitors stopped by. Most participated in a raffle drawing for many valuable prizes, generously provided by Pundmann Ford. The proceeds from the prize ticket sale and 50/50 raffles were benefiting the Optimist Club of St. Charles.

“Leaping Lizards” game in action
A few brave children tested their endurance on an inflatable obstacle course and reactive forces by launching leaping lizards. Young participants could practice their aiming skills by throwing Velcro hammers at a large target.
A few visitors enjoyed laps on a race track behind the wheel of the Daytona USA video game and showed their hoop skills by shooting basketballs at a virtualized Half Court (thankfully in the shade of the Pundmann Ford garage).
After all those activities, all “fueled their engines” with free bratwursts and hot dogs, grilled and served by the caterers from the St. Charles Optimist Club. And if you worried about gaining weight after consuming way too many calorie-rich foods, the St. Louis Blues’ mascot “Louie” helped to shake your extra pounds off by engaging in his energizing dance. Lastly, you could cool down by drinking chilled water, Gatorade, a variety of sodas, or a cone of flavored shaved ice.
If you missed this year’s Pundmann Ford Fest, be sure to attend the one next year! More information to follow.

Some of our Club’s volunteers
Special thanks to the Pundmann Ford at Quick Lanes Auto Service for hosting the event and supplying all the food served!
Thanks also to the twelve Optimist Club of St. Charles volunteers who survived the sauna-like weather and provided excellent grilling and food service.
Finally, we give a big shout-out to the Club’s event chairperson, Fred McGinley, for his outstanding preparation work in making the cooking and serving crew job easy!
