     The excessive heat has affected the attendance at the fair this year, according to the president of the fair board and three of their board members. Our long-time members who have been involved with the Beer Garden for many years commented that they have not seen a slower gathering at the beer stand in all of their years of this project.

     Despite the hot steamy weather, our 54th year of supporting the St.Charles Fair Project brought 15 Optimist Club members and 5 volunteers from Pundmann Ford to make this project successful. The profit from the ticket sale was donated back to the fair to support  youth and 4H Clubs in St. Charles County.
